Its pretty Meh
I'll put it this way to make it less harsh. I would not recommend this college to anyone. Stay far, far away. There are much better colleges out there.
Do not come here expecting much from people. They are very hypocritical here. And I've met several people who have switched majors from nursing to other majors due to the unprofessional nature of the staffed instructors in the nursing department. Even threats to a student were made in that department. The other professors however are much more helpful. And what is with all the scholarships to help oil people become richer and given more advantages, while the rest suffer increased costs with no increase of pay to afford living. Seriously here its all about staying richer and ripping people off.They seriously need to put more of that oil money to use within the school in offering more to students who expect more from a place claiming to be a university. Such as more classes face to face and in person. Its also the first college I've seen to never recycle, no recycle bins.
I attended there and graduated as a chemist in 1979. I have no complain about DSU. I loved the experience. I assume that educational programs have improved since then. Unfortunately my daughters preferred to study in Latin America (so war there are not records of shooters in colleges here). Otherwise, I would have sent them to Dickinson. Learning is up to the student, I got to work for United Nations and I currently work for Armed Forces and my education have helped me a lot.
I heard that the college is good....I do have intensions to attend...
