Bed was comfortable and the room was spacious. The deadbolt lock on the door didn't work and the water temperature of the shower was difficult to get in a position that wasn't too hot or cold
Great if you are a serial killer passing thru needing a nights rest before hunting victims the next day.
You get what you pay for... well, usually. We definitely didn't get $35 worth of a hotel. The box spring in room 306 is broken on one side so the bed is V-shaped on that side. There are dirty socks under the bed. The windows have smudges all over them from people putting their faces on the glass, which has not since been cleaned. The outlet nearest to the bed is literally split in half (electrical hazard, much?). I wouldn't mind the other things if the box spring wasn't broken but, in my opinion, that's something that should've been caught by the maids and replaced. (There are no support beams under the box spring, so I imagine that this isn't the only room with this problem.) If you want a cheap place, try a few other hotels nearby, many of which are similarly priced. I will definitely not return to this clearly unmaintained place.
It's not bad better then l thought.
The pillow cases and bedding were dirty and had stains. The bathroom floor was sticky. The chair in the room was disgusting because of how worn and stained it was. The carpeting had a hill in it from it not being put in right, and was covered in stains; it felt so dirty to your bare feet.The bed frames were just a joke, the bed wasn't even on the frame all the way. It felt like the bed was going to flip over if someone got up. . You could not have the two lights by the bed and the alarm clock plugged in since the outlets didn't hardly work. There is exposed wiring, The outlets were loose, and the ac didn't work very well. This place needs new management to get stuff in shape and a major renovation. Not only did the hallway and stairs reek of cat urine, so did our room. Frankly, I'm surprised we didn't come home with athletes foot or bed bugs. I will never again stay at a Rodeway Inn, no matter the location. Choice Hotels should be ashamed of having this hotel be a part of their chain.
If you book this place at all (which I do not recommend), do it online. It's at least $10 cheaper.
I do not recommend staying at this hotel. We had a horrible experience.
