Tonight however, that all comes to a sudden stop. Me and my wife had an extremely poor experience. When we tried to talk to management, we were shot down.
I posted a review last week and gave it a 5 for the most part. I had never been there on a Saturday but it was a real learning experience. The food was good, yes, maybe a little pricey but I saw the service fall apart. My wife and I were there on training day, there were 5 gophers behind the bar trying to get their customers their drinks. They finally slaughtered the cow and put it in front of us. The food was good, but the service was almost non-existent. 1- on service, 4.8 on food, 4.0 on $.
Hopefully this a learning experience for them and us. Not sure you can learn from a full glass
Went to this restaurant during peak hours. They said there was at least a 30 minute late and we accepted that. After an hour went by waiting we went and checked with the host and apparently they “forgot” about us. So we finally get seated and don’t hear from the server for another 20 minutes. Finally we flag someone down and order. Low and behold an hour goes by and still no food. We told the wait staff our experience and they acted like that was normal. So I guess if you want to spend 3+ hours for your dinner, go to this place.
Steaks were over cooked, chicken was like jerky, we couldn't get menus for a half hour after sitting down because they were "out", drinks were made differently than what was on the menu, took 2 hours to get our food, over priced, nobody cared and my well done steak wasnt even comped. Would definitely not recommend this place and we won't be going back. The Brickhouse is the best steakhouse in town, hands down. Don't waste your money on this place.
Fantastic food, perfect service, incredible atmosphere!!! Went for lunch, we can not wait to come back! You really need to try this, you won't regret it! Update!! Went for dinner, made a reservation and was asked if it was a special occasion. I said yes an anniversary and we were surprised with the beautiful cupcake complete with candle and love written in raspberry reduction I think. Any any rate, wonderful drinks, incredible food, fabulous service and can't wait to come back! (The spinach artichoke dip with pistachio parmesian crustini is highly recommend!)
My name is Eric McDaniels, I have been a frequent dinner of the crossing from day 1. Like most good Steak houses they are in the process of finding their own. Like anything else they have been open to constructive criticisms on all fronts. I personally have dine with them more than most, (10 or more) times. I have had the opportunity to sit in a private room and or to quietly dine with my wife. Both have been exciting and full filling experiences.
